Zubin Austin – Learning Styles: Theory, Practise, and Action

Room 2

Learning styles theory is an important tool for educators to understand how to design and deliver quality programs.  This presentation will highlight use of a tool – the Health Professionals Inventory of Learning Styles (HPILS) that can be used for self-assessment and for group use to help educators better understand and respond to the needs of learners from diverse backgrounds and with different learning styles and preferences.

This workshop will be repeated, and held both in the morning and afternoon.
