Council of Pharmacy Schools: Australia and New Zealand (CPS A & NZ)
The Council of Pharmacy Schools (CPS Inc.) is the peak representative body for Universities with Schools of Pharmacy in Australia and New Zealand. CPS members include Deans/Heads of Pharmacy Schools from the 20 universities in Australia and New Zealand. The Council’s objectives are to advance and promote pharmacy education and research on behalf of the pharmacy profession in both Australia and New Zealand. CPS provides a collegial forum for the exchange of ideas and benchmarking opportunities amongst member Schools of Pharmacy. CPS members provide leadership in assisting with the development of accreditation standards for pharmacy degree programs and many academic staff from CPS member schools provide expertise and leadership as members of Site Evaluation Teams (SETs) for accreditation purposes. CPS provides profession-wide leadership as part of the Australian Pharmacy Leaders Forum (APLF).
Pharmaceutical Society New Zealand is the professional association for all pharmacists in New Zealand. The Society is keeping the profession strong and working to a vision of pharmacists and other health professionals working together in an integrated and collaborative health practice environment to significantly improve patient care and health outcomes.
